Tour Britannia Adds New Luxury Mercedes-Benz Sprinter to Meet Growing Demand for Private Group Tours
We are delighted to share some exciting Tour Britannia news: we have added a brand-new 2026 luxury Mercedes-Benz Sprinter to our touring fleet.
The new executive vehicle gives us more capacity, more flexibility and even more comfort for private tours, cruise transfers, airport pickups and bespoke multi-day itineraries across Britain.
For our guests, the benefit is simple: larger groups can now travel together in comfort, with space for up to eight passengers and luggage.
More room, more comfort, more possibilities
Our Mercedes V-Class is an incredibly popular choice for private touring, particularly for families and small groups. The new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter allows us to welcome slightly larger parties while keeping the personal, private experience that Tour Britannia is known for.
The Sprinter seats eight passengers in individual captain-style seats, giving everyone their own space to relax and enjoy the journey. It also offers increased luggage capacity, making it especially useful for longer tours, cruise pickups and guests travelling with large cases and carry-on bags.
Inside, the vehicle has been designed with comfort in mind. Features include:
- Individual reclining captain-style seats.
- Panoramic windows to maximise the view
- Wi-Fi, USB charging for every seat and a fridge for refreshments
- Premium interior finish with mood lighting and curtains for longer transfers
- Electric step for easier access, plenty of leg room and air conditioning for maximum comfort
Built for bespoke private travel
The new vehicle arrives after a year of increased demand for private group travel, particularly from families, friends and overseas visitors looking for a more personal way to explore Britain.
We have seen growing interest in multi-day bespoke tours, where we help guests plan not only the transport, but the full shape of the trip. This can include hotels, meals, special activities, historic sites, scenic routes and hidden gems that are harder to reach on standard group itineraries.
The additional capacity means we can now take more people, to more places, for longer.
It also gives us greater flexibility for larger enquiries. For groups of up to 15 passengers, we can operate both our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Mercedes V-Class together, allowing guests to benefit from the same private, personal service across two vehicles.

The new 2026 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is available for bookings now and will operate from London, and across the UK for Tour Britannia’s private tours and transfers.
