The Ancestors

This was the perfect example of how a day can start with a plan and quickly switch to a custom adventure.

The Skidmores booked our Stonehenge and Bath tour, but after Stonehenge mentioned that they thought their name was associated with somewhere near by.

To cut a long story short, we pivoted on the fly, found the village with links to the family name and reunited the family with their actual ancestors in two 13th and 14th century tombs!

We did that there and then, but it has inspired genealogy based tours, where we can either create a tour specifically based around your roots, or even take on the whole research piece on your behalf and create your very own ‘Who Do You Think You Are’
